Coreopsis Jethro Tull

Coreopsis is an easy to grow plant, making it a good choice for beginners. One plant will provide you with long-lasting cut flower bouquets nearly all summer long. They are native to North America and are rather drought resistant.
Jethro Tull is a natural cross of ‘Early Sunrise’ and ‘Zamfir’, boasting brilliant golden yellow flowers with fluted petals and a more compact habit. Its petals are consistently fluted and the plants are very floriferous, providing unbeatable color impact in the garden in early and mid summer.
We do not notice issues with pests on Jethro Tull, but we have observed powdery mildew when plants are not properly spaced. To avoid powdery mildew, water early in the day to establish new plantings and allow proper air flow around the plants.
Jethro Tull compliments well with purple blooming perennials such as Salvia and Hardy Geranium. We have these available in trade gallon pots for $6.99.
