Maple Royal Red

This Norway maple tree selection is the classic purple-leafed maple tree. It keeps its brilliant maroon-purple color all summer long, adding a pop of color as an alternative to traditional green leafed trees. It is similar to the Crimson King variety, with a slightly slower growth rate and slightly better color. Royal Red has a dense, broad oval shape and is extremely hardy, making it an excellent choice for a shade tree.
Early spring and fall are the best times to plant trees, as planting in the summer can induce stress. All our trees, including Royal Red Maples, are grown and sold in containers. We will have 10 gallon pots for $178 and #15 gallon pots for $198.
